It looks more like a tumor or an old injury with a plug of pus in it. If you're not to squeamish, I would gently push around the mass and see if anything comes out.

If it empties, flush it and pack with Neosporin (no pain killer).

Not squeamish at all I'll try it tomorrow. I've wrapped it with epsom salt poultice. Thank you.
