What is this?

My 08 rir hen has yellow stuff around her vent and feathers in that area. Somtimes she has it and sometimes she dont.she is not laying. I will try to get pictues soon. Any thing will help.

No, because she dosn't always have it

Maybe a soft shelled egg? They can do that any time if they are ill if I'm not mistaken.

but she hasn't laid a single egg scince i got her. It was to dark to tell tonight if she still had it. other than that she is completly healthy

Did this just start a few days ago? If so she might be laying internally. Some pics might help.

I will get pics tommorow if she has it. I have had her for months and somtimes she has it. She has not layed any eggs. I cut her beak, treated her for mites, and checked the space between the pubic bones. she had more than four fingers space, and she is not fat are skinny. I think she has a laying disorder. She gets in and out of the nest every day a lot each day.
