Bought the little black duck a few wks ago at a swap meet. I was told she was an East India something. She is solid black, with green iridescent feathers, black beak and feet. Not friendly at all, runs any time someone comes near. Pretty sure she is a girl.

    East Indie or Cayuga.

Appears it has been pinioned???? Or, is just its wings clipped?

Looks like a cayuga. The East Idies ducks are small like the call ducks. They also fly.
That one looks like its the same size as the other duck (campbell?), in which case it would be a cayuga.

It could be a Black East Indies, but over-size. Not every bird is going to meet the SOP.

Go slow and she will get more friendly. Food works well as a bribe to get her to come around. Ducks don't like to be picked up, but with a little time you can have her hanging around your feet.
