What is this?

What is the bump with scab? on my chicken's neck behind earlobe? It looks like a volcano or pimple with big opening on it. She keeps scratching it and it bleeds about every other day. Any help would be appreciated!

IMO it looks like someone ripped a feather out, leaving a hole and it may have gotten either infected or the scab got ripped off repeatedly because of her scratching. I'd try some neosporin on it, see if it helps.

So now it's bleeding quite a bit. I noticed it about a week or so ago but if she scratches it or I touch or squeeze it drips or squirts bright red blood like directly connected to blood vessels. That is the only spot on her. So strange.

If a blood feather is ripped out of a bird than it can open up a site of blood. Usually this heals quickly, though in this case it may not have. Keep it from becoming infected.
It could perhaps be some form of tumor or sore.

Otherwise, I'm not sure what else to do.

I know it may sound crazy or a long shot, but maybe you could tryyy to bandage it so she can't scratch it? Maybe you can cut the toe off of a sock and put it on her head/neck.
