What is with my Duck Hen? Is maybe starting to be broody???

Well she hasn't done anything since saturday, there is 4 eggs in the nest 2 may be hers. Any advice. I know she probably will take a few days, but then what should I exspect to see?

@The Duck Ladie there really isn't anything you can do either she'll go broody or she won't and most likely 4 eggs aren't enough. lol

I should hope so! 4 eggs isn't nearly enough for me! I'll just wait, and see what happens!

Once she goes broody she'll sit tight. Hopefully come out at least 1X a day for some R&R. I have had a few I have had to make get off the nest so they would eat. They really get zoned out.

Don't get in a hurry she has her own time table and she may lay more before she is ready. lol Has she been on them at all? day or night?

I haven't seen her. I let them go out of the coop to forage a bit this morning, she wanted to go in the Magpie pen..
