What is wrong with her?

Did she eat a small snake or lizard?
I once saw one eat a small snake whole while I had them free ranging. The snake was probably 8 inches long. That thing moved around in her crop for the rest of the day. It was really weird.

That is interesting. She does not look like she is adjusting her crop which they sometimes do. It looks like an involuntary spasm probably neurological in nature. I would try giving some vitamin E 40 mcg daily squirted on some food, and give a little bit of chopped egg for selenium daily. That would treat her in case of wry neck. Neurological symptoms can be due to head injury, vitamin deficiency, or diseases such as Mareks. Some chickens also can have seizures. Sorry your chicken is having problems.
Interesting theory. Can chickens have seizures or a seizure disorder like epilepsy?

This is what I think is going on....it's too erratic in it's path of movement for a seizure.
...and it looks just like a critter in a bag.

Maybe, if the snake or critter was in the coop overnight, but her crop felt empty when I pressed on it. This was at 6:30 a.m. and barely light.

So I ended up working from home today, which worked out well. I have clients coming here, so I won't be able to monitor her as closely, but I did chop up a boiled egg and she gulped it down, so at least she is eating now. She hasn't touched her chicken feed (Purina starter/grower).

I didn't see her chest move when I took her the egg. She is kicking up a fuss about being separated now. I should keep her separate for the day, though, right, to monitor her food and water intake, and droppings?

I would...no, they don't like it. ...putting crate in run or coop can help her ave 'company'.

Okay, I will put the crate in the run so she can still be with the others. She still hasn't eaten her food, just scattered it, and no water is gone.

Hope you get some answers I will tag a few people that might be able to help or know someone to tag

She looks like she has a frog in her belly

@KikisGirls @aart @BlackHackle
Looks like she is having a hard time transferring food from her crop. I've had several chickens do that over time
