what is wrong with my hen????

Thank you for the info everyone. Here is her pic, her Crop fills fine but I do think she had leg mites, my question is, how would she get round worm??? I dont know if this has anything to do with it but there yard is sand, there is no grass because they eat it all. I fill so bad for my hen, but I had to put her back in the yard because I had no idea what worm that was and I didn't want anyone to get sick.:confused::hit
If one has worms they probably all do.
Can you get one of these at your local feed store...either one will work.

So here an update. She is walking better today and actually got into the coop on her own, I am hoping she does better after getting some rest tonight. Thank you everyone for your help. I am going to go to tractor supple tomorrow and see if they have the dewormers yall showed me. Again thanks everyone I appreciate all your help.

Ok so today I am going to get the dewormer and I was wondering how Long it would take for it to start working and how many times I would need to use it. I am going to be treating the whole flock.

"i have not had the money to buy them crushed oyster shell." Have you checked your local feed or farm supply store? I pay about $1.00 per lb for crushed oyster shell. A little goes a long way when mixed in with the layer pellet.

It depends on what you buy.
Get the wormer and post a picture of it and I'll tell you how to use it.

my tractor supple does not do that lol I sometimes give them crushed egg shells instead, it really saves money.

Oyster shells at TSC are $5.99 for 5 lbs online. That bag will last me months, maybe a year. For my 8 chickens (was 12) I just take about a teaspoon full twice a day and toss it under a tree for them to peck at. I don't think it takes a lot for them to have what they need. I do the same with grit. I'm not sure it would last that long if I put it in a container for free ranging because my chickens would knock it out of the dish.
