What is wrong with my silkie?

I have a 4 month old silkie who can’t seem to walk. It sits on it’s but as pictured. I don’t believe it is mareks as the legs are not paralyzed. It has a good appetite that i have supplemented with poultry booster. It sits upright and alert, and when scared it used its wings to help it hobble away. It is the left leg giving it issues (won’t put any weight on it) but it does not make a fuss when i feel around its legs. No signs of bumblefoot. The only thing I could find was a small discolored patch on its left hock (pictured). Any ideas?

It (it because its a 4 month old silkie so i still dont know gender) doest like to walk at all, but when it has to it flaps frantically and definitely favors the right foot.

This started about a week ago. It has not lost significant weight, lost its appetite, or lost any alertness in that time

Do his legs still bend like they should? Is there any chance he got into something toxic?

I can move the leg through their full range of motion. Its toes, however, do not curl when i pull the legs back. As i said they are definitely not paralyzed, but could be paresis. Right now my plan is to keep it in the house, continue to give it supplemented feed and i am going to pick up a vitamin b complex. These are my pet chickens so i would love to take it to a vet but exam fees are in the $90-150 range at places i have called :/

Maybe try treating it as if it were splay foot. Gently tie a length of vet wrap around each leg w a short length between that would pull them into position, yet also allow him to walk/stand. Check its comb and around it's cheeks for white spots or paleness...these are signs of worms causing anemia. You'll need a worming treatment. Try also giving it a calcium/magnesium supplement to see if it's a bone or muscle problem from nutrition deficiency.

Have you had adult chickens develop splayed leg? There were no signs of it until a week ago. Ive also heard that splayed leg cant be fixed in adult birds only prevented from getting worse
