What is wrong with this ducks bill? How can I help him?

@rockulius , I just thought of something - do you have a chlorinated pool? This reminds me of someone elses duck on here that had been swimming in a chlorinated pool every day. Maybe the cut started something, or accelerated something. Just a thought. I will see if I can find that post.

@casportpony He is overweight, in my opinion. Because of his lame leg, he is inactive. Despite his leg he can walk, swim, and flap his wings. He has a voracious appetite as most ducks do. Are you saying that a weight increase would mean something more serious, or a decrease?

Only weight loss would worry me.

@Miss Lydia When we rescued him three years ago, he had fishing line wrapped around his leg. The fishing line was cutting into his leg almost down to the bone. We rehabilitated him but now his leg is permanently damaged but he can still walk.
