What is your bedtime routine?

New coop ,starting a new routine.!st night sucked,,,40 mins and had to chase all of them.Tonight 2nd night,,,no chasing and only 1 I had to get.Locked coop after head count.Rain and thunderstorms here.I hope they figure out its a good place to go during a down pour.Glad to have them out of the garage!!!! Kevin

It's still light here till about 830...my lazy chickens are all "roosted up" by 730. I shut their door and say "goonite chickies"...

I don't have to do a thing. EVERY night, no matter what my six girls are doing, at 8:30 give or take no more than 5 mins, they go into their run, into their coop and up onto their roost. I think it is the cutest thing ever! It is really funny because you could set your watch by them. It is like someone rings a bell and off they go. They roost right next to a window in the coop so I always talk to my babies before leaving them. I'm a wierd guy I guess.
