What is your chickens' favorite treat?

Raisins! They will jump 5 ft in the air and pluck the raisin from between my fingers every time. They then proceed to fight over them... And I tell them to share equally.


Don't give them too many though, it can hurt them!

Oh buttermilk was a hit today!!! They were even peaceful and didn't get the pecking order started. Everyone drank until they were stuffed and no fusses. Wow!

In the hot summer, my chooks favorite treat is cool, fresh, watermelon, sliced in wedges that they can peck at.


All year long, their favorite snack is raw milk.
