What is your coolest looking mix?

I do not have a lot of cool mixes. I had one cool looking cockerel this summer who was a Buff Brahma Bantam x black Cochin but the dogs got em. I might have an older picture of him but none of him in his adult plumage.

And that's pretty much all I got. I do have 37 chicken eggs in the incubator right now though and every single one is a mix breed so we will see what I get once easter comes around.

I have a lot. They look like breeds but then you look at their combs—and you think otherwise :

And Boom Chicka POP (Boomy for short) I think she is an Easter egger welsummer mix (she looks like a welsummer, yet has the puff cheeks and comb like a, Easter egger.:View attachment 1726685
Also, if you know what breeds they are, if they aren’t cross breeds, let me know! :p
Very cool! Thanks for sharing! I don't know much about all the different breeds, but they do sure look pretty, even if they're purebreds in disguise. :lau

Thanks for posting! I really like the Bantam EE x Buff Brahma Bantam, I'll have to try that sometime! I can't find many bantams in Canada, though.

It might produce a similar thing with the bigger versions. crossing a black bird to a Buff Brahma. Idk though, the other cool mix I was talking about has the same pattern just way more evenly laced. He was a BBB x Black Cochin Bantam.

I'm severely low on breeds right now. I think I'll order some BBs, Dark Brahmas and Easter Eggers next year. :D

I still can’t get over the color pattern on my Easter Egger X ISA Brown! I wish there was a true Ameraucana variety like it.
Beautiful bird! I had a hen sort of like that, I called her vanilla because she had mostly white feathers, but some very light brown ones. Nothing like your hen though! :thumbsup

actually, the white one possibly could be a white Wyandotte, but she most likely is a cross.
