What is your coolest looking mix?

They are pretty cool looking! Did they lay many eggs?

Those three are all roosters, although they do look like hens. They were very small! The one hen I got that flew away laid quite a few eggs, all very smooth looking and cream colored.

I thought for the longest time that it was all dirt on her chest! I wasn’t very educated back then.

Better than other things people think about chickens.

Here are my Salmon Favorolle / White Polish cross chicks growing up. Also my Bourbon Red cross Black Spanish and my Bourbon Red cross Royal Palm turkeys wanted pictures too! They are in a pretty big area but

they all want to be right next to me all the time.

The first five chickens I owned were what you would call extreme mixes, Who knows what all the breeds in them are. I hatched a couple of eggs from the hens, and got some cool results!

This is the trio I got. I also got a hen, but she flew almost as well as a bird and got away.

This is Cleo, a poor quality tsco silkie crossed with a New Hampshire red! She’s massive but such a sweetheart!

Next is Seca, I’m not quite sure what mix she is, but I’m sure she had at least a little silkie in her because of that blue skin! She just went broody and has been a great mama!

Some of my Cross breeds.

The blue-ish one is named Nancy, 3/4 blue Orpington and 1/4 Rhode Island Red. The white-ish one is DC, a Brahma mix with sebright somewhere on down the line.

Mine are still in their changing phase so I am unsure what they will look like as adults, but so far I love the look of my light Brahma.

Hiccup, our pretty boy Easter Egger that we had to put down last month when he somehow broke his leg.

Mom is my splash orpington and did was an EE that we used to have who was Ameraucana and Barnevelder mix.

Not 100% sure what breeds but probably a salmon favorell mix.

She’s a sweetheart and loves to be the center of attention.

@BYCforlife I really like the Roo in the 2nd pic! would like to know that cross.

I don't have any crosses that I know of, maybe these two bantams that I recently acquired. If anyone knows what type of Bantam they may be I would appreciate it if you would let know.

I do plan to hatch some chicks from my Porcelain De 'Uccle Bantams next spring. I 3 of these beautiful roos and 2 hens.

I also can't wait to hatch babies from my brahmas and Lavender Orpingtons!
