What is Your DREAM Flock? (And What's Realistic?)

Yes absolutely!! I've been pretty lucky in that department so far

I wish I were that lucky this year. We lost 3 of our flock, not including ducks.

My dream flock wondering ld be two of every domestic fowl (except rhode island red) Plus males of each.

This time around I am mainly wanting a colorful egg basket so I have a few americaunas, a few marans, and of course brown laying hens... also I wanted to do different breeds than I did last time. (I moved a few years ago and had to find a new home for my girls). So this time I also have some brahmas, some Orpingtons, some red blue Wyandottes, silver laced Wyandotte, mottled Java’s, brown Sussex, and a silver Hamburg. This next weekend I’ll be getting some silkies too. I’m loving this variety... they are all so pretty!

If I had it my way, I'd have breeding flocks of ever imaginable variety of D'Uccle.

i wish i could like this a hundred times! I don't have them yet and I'm in love with millefleurs!

Lets just say my first chickens were black astrolorps and rhode island reds. Needless to say, the rhode island reds had a huge issue with pecking, to the point that most my blacks were pecked almost bare.
