Some of our chickens have personalities that cover up for what they might lay in the future (they're still pullets). Honestly, I don't care whether my Cream Legbar pullet ends up laying green or white eggs (though we hope for blue), because her personality definitely makes up for it!My favorite breed also lays white. But they make up for it by being beautiful in both appearance and personality.
For the record, though, I've seen some really gorgeous dyed brown eggs! The brown shell really adds a nice depth to the dye color.![]()
