What is your favorite dIY chicken/ duck hack?

Our entire coop was built diy start to finish. Honestly, we didn't even have any plans, we just built as we went. I'll post pictures soon.

By that I mean, of course we had a good idea of what we wanted, but no actual blueprints.

There's a stick there. You can see it in front of the nesting boxes. That's kind of an old picture, we've upgraded to two two by twos (oh yeah) as our flock has expanded.

Oh, sorry! I was thinking the boards on the side were like benches and trying to figure out how to incorporate that in my own coop!
