What is your favorite duck breed?

I currently have WH, KC, buff, and anconas. My buff and anconas are still pretty young though ranging from 4-7 weeks. I absolutely love my WH, but I've heard such wonderful things about the anconas and buffs. I actually looked high and low for anconas because of the reputation they have of being such a friendly and social breed. I lucked out by finding the buff at a local TSC. The KC are my least favorite though. They're pretty standoffish compared to all the rest. I thought about getting some runners, but heard that they can be kind of skittish. I've heard others say otherwise though.

Great to know! I am interested in Welsh Harlequins. One more vote for them
WH are also great brooders and mothers if that is something they interest you. I have a WH that just turned a year old and has already gone broody for the first time. She has been setting on a clutch of 8 eggs for 2 weeks now and they are developing beautifully.

they all came from the same parents-
