I like my american game hens very much. However they wont roost in the coop they insist in the trees. Now I only have one left. I have tried penning them up for weeks on end to no avail. Now she just mover to a tall walnut. The bad thing is I am sure she will dissappear soon and reappear with half buff orp chicks.

No conversation started..and for whatever that is suppose to mean..the topic is about game chickens and I stated that sumatras, oegs and moderns are not game chickens as they are NOT. Just because they have GAME tagged in their name does not make them game...and Sumatras simply are not game.

You are using GAME as in actual fighting game that are used for illegal purposes. You are implying that Old English, Moderns or other poultry descendant from GAME chickens no longer can use that title because they are not used to kill other birds anymore.
What you are basiclly saying is that only birds that are used to kill other birds can use the title of GAME, correct?

first off..don't put words into my mouth..secondly..hopefully this thread will get locked! Now..as i said, oegb's are NOT game, Modern game bantams are NOT game and neither are sumatras..Game is Game..if you are any kind of breeder, which apparently you aren't you would know that preservation is a priority, not for illegal purposes!
