What is Your Favorite Word to Describe Your Flock?

So, I have seen wonderful terms of endearments on BYC that oozes love for each person's girls.

I was just wondering what word or term of love you use when talking about your girls...?

List them away because I would love to see what you call your girls....

To all of them, I call them chickies and peepers! My girls, are 'my girls', my boys are 'my handsome boys'. Then the named ones... Snowman, my good boy, Squeaky, my sweet girl... peaches, beautiful girl, Romeo--Mr. Handsome, Dr. Seuss. Etc.

Ladies Or bitches, LOL most are gentle, loveable ladies.....a couple of my hens are definitely bitches!

 

[Ladies-Eight]

I call my chickens my ladies. They use to be Ladies Eight. Since I added 12 more they are my ladies. I have all Isa Browns. I don't have to call them, because when I open the back door they all come running to meet me at the gate. Some of them have names. One is Miss Boss, another is Henrietta, and one is Scratcher. Some of the other 17 have names. Love my chickens. I love to visit them or set on the screen room to watch them.

View attachment 1880059 View attachment 1880055 I usually call them my girls or chicks...but when I call them to come get treats, it’s “chick-chick”! My 20-month-old grandson now mimics me and as soon as he sees me, he wants to go see the chick-chicks and look for eggs .

Velociraptors.

I totally get the skirts and petticoats, that's funny. But I always think that my Sussex's big ole feathery butt makes her look like she's wearing a diaper(nappy).
My BCM is more streamlined and she looks like she's wearing black cycling shorts.

I’ll never be able to look at mine or the others in my spin class without thinking of this post.
