What is Your Favorite Word to Describe Your Flock?

The laying birds are the Ladies. Those still too young to lay are the Girls or Girlies.

My 2 are "cold blooded", I am completely convinced that they would eat me if i was smaller than them. They look at me with one cold blooded eye, they are thinking of a way to kill me. I spoil them to, they give me 2 eggs a day.

I feel like this when I get home.

So, I have seen wonderful terms of endearments on BYC that oozes love for each person's girls.

I was just wondering what word or term of love you use when talking about your girls...?

List them away because I would love to see what you call your girls....

My Roo's are the only ones with names, Speed Racer (because of the racing stripe when he was a chick.) F'head (his old mom named him that because he attacked her several times) and then Newbie (because I didn't know he was a he before I caught him doing the wild thing) then the hens are the "girls"

Until they started laying my husband called them the Freeloaders. Other than that it varies, Brats, Birdbrains, Dorks, the birds, etc. All with affection of course!
