What is your most annoying habit/s?

I have OCD - Obsessive–compulsive disorder. I have a constant fear of germs and sick people, so I am always washing my hands, using sanitizier and spraying lysol. I overly encourage sick people (cold, viruses, etc.) to wash hands, use sanitizer, etc and I think it gets on their nerves. I do not want to be in the same room with them or have them touch anything (phone, door knob, light switch, ink pen, etc.) If someone sneezes down the aisle at the grocery store, I immediately turn around and go down another aisle. I'm fearful of walking thru their droplets in the air. If I'm at the store and the cashier sneezes in her hand, I politely ask her to get another cashier to give me my change. I will not allow her to touch my money for fear of getting her germs from her sneeze.

I know that this is overkill and it drives people crazy and gets on their nerves and it's annoying. I have not been sick in over 20 years and have never had to call in sick at work.

Continue to be yourself. I'm the same way.

spending hours on BYC instead of doing chores...

That leg jiggling thing freaks me out, my dad did it to hold in his temper; DH has been nice about not doing it around me - with him it's just a nervous twitch.

I correct people on EVERYTHING. If someone says something inaccurate about history (in particular if they repeat a common myth about the War for Southern Independence) I get angry and go on a rant. I have the uncanny ability to remember commercials almost word-for-word, and I correct people on those as well.

Yes, I'm a freak, but what do you expect to find on a chicken forum?

According to some of my friends, my most annoying habit is fact checking all political email forwards I am sent (along with making any necessary grammatical and spelling corrections) and sending them back to whoever sent them to me. You think they'd just stop forwarding me the dang things, but nooooooooooooo.

Hi! It's very annoying to me that I've gotten so forgetful lately. I seem to spend a lot of time wandering around trying to remember what it was I was *about to do*.
It took me 3 trips to the shed yesterday to get a box of screws and by the time I finally got the screws --- it was too late to work on that project.
