What Is Your Pet’s Name and What WERE They Going To Be Named!?

When I brought this guy home as a tiny kitten years ago, we couldn't decide on the right name for weeks, so we called him "Lil Dude." Then we happened to watch the Big Lebowski and decided he should be "The Dude" forever in spirt with the name Lebowski. That was quickly shortened to Bowski, and we call him either that or Bow Bow these days.

I love Dude and “Bow Bow”. He is a looker. Our cat Oliver had several nicknames. BO short for Big Orange….you have to have heard Andy Griffith comedy record to know the reference. “Fuzzy Britches” because he had rabbit type fur and he had a very fluffy rear end. His brother Milo we called “My Mi”. Our cat Clover is referred mostly as “Little Girl”.

My boy came with the name Captain from the rescue.

I wanted him to have a connection to my previous dogs, Cody and Leyna, so I tried to find names with "L" and "C" in them. And that's how Luc got his name. It fits him perfectly too.

My orange kitty came from the humane society with the name Champ, and we just kept that name. Nowadays his nicknames range from Fatso to Murphy
My little gray kitty came from a friend who rescued her, he was calling her Missy. We didn’t like that name, so changed it to Mandy. But we don’t really call her that, she’s Little, Teeny, or Mew.
