What kind of bird is this?

Hi everyone, we bought these two birds yesterday but don’t really know what they are. They are fairly small. They were described as Bantums but I don’t think so. I’m thinking more English game bird or Cornish game bird. Can someone confirm please? I’m also assuming they are hens and wondering if they will lay eggs. I don’t know any other info on them. They appear to be Black Breasted Red OE game bantams. Both are pullets and will lay, but this in my experience has been a frequently broody breed so egg production will not be maximum.

Great thanks. OK, got it. It's a Black Breasted Red Old English game bantam. We're happy with them. In our city, they don't allow backyard chicks but they do allow game birds so I think these qualify. The kids are happy to be allowed to have chickens again.
