What kind of chickens are these?

    We bought 6 chicks last fall that were supposed to be Speckled Sussex. I'm clueless about chicken breeds - I just know they are precious and the eggs are wonderful! I'm told by neighbors these probably aren't Speckled Sussex - what are they? Thanks for any insight!

    Looks like an Easter Egger, which is a general catch all for a mixed breed. His pea comb and slate legs are a trait they typically exhibit though. They're normally bearded, but I prefer them without beards :)
