What kind of chickens are these?

They are Polish. Bearded Polish

Cool! I didn't know there was such a thing. I can't wait to see "grown-up" pictures!

They are both bearded, so can't be Spitzhaubens. Polish is most likely, small chance they are Brabanters I reckin.

I always forget that spitzhaubens aren't bearded.
OP, if their crests continue to grow forwards rather than backwards, then they are brabanters.

That's a good little bit of info to file away! I ALWAYS have a problem with the cresteds. Is there a difference between pullets & cockerels, like there sometimes is with Silkies and streamers?
Forgive me if this is a silly question. I know next to nothing about brabanters.

The roosters do have streamers. I'm pretty sure most crested breeds do if they're male.

Generally male Polish have longer, narrower, and more pointed crest feathers. It won't be obvious for several more months though. By then saddle feathers or wing bars will give away the cockerels though.
