What kind of chicks result from mixed brown hens and Wyandotte roo?

I have one Wyandotte roo and just ordered 25 mixed brown egg layers. Eventually hope some hens will brood their own eggs. What type of chicks would I get? I don't have a clue how. Would they all be half Wyandotte and half their own breed?

Yes, they will be hybrids unless some of the pullets are Wyandottes. Then you will get purebreds and hybrids. You could end up with any color from a Wyandotte (what color is he?) and the various brown egg layers.

Oh my, I don't want hybrid birds, if they are anything like hybrid seeds. I obviously have a lot to learn. Thanks for the link, I will check it out.
My roo is orange red and black, very handsome.
Well the next question would be, is there some way to know which hens are laying which eggs?
These are the reasons I was hesitant to order a mix but I don't want all Wyandottes and love the variety for my grandkids.
