I know a lot of people get irritated by mockingbirds. We always have mockingbirds singing their songs all night long. I love them. I also think it is funny when they harrass my cats. I feel like it is a case of turnabout is fair play, because my cats are big hunters. To Kill a Mockingbird is my all time favorite movie. I think it is really funny when you see them chasing away hawks that are so much bigger than them. When I was a kid my mom was sure that a mockingbird was mocking her saying my older sisters name.

my 2 year old daughter was plaing on the trampoline this evening and she was screaming and so forth and so it started sounding like her scream good thing the trampoline is closed it or it would have been tring to attck them out there playing

We used to have mocking birds. Then we started letting our maine coon cats out *Who are about bob cat size*. Well the birds did their usual dive to peck the cats. Right as they were about to peck one, the other cat would jump over and get the bird.

No more pretty mocking birds for us.

We still have cardinals though!!!
