Yeah. Or possibly just poorly bred. He has a slightly narrower muzzle than the Akitas I've seen, too.

I have an ACD mix. She is the best dog ever! She's getting up there, 12 years old. Those pups are going to be great dogs.

It's not easy getting a good shot of Pip. She's camera shy. She had 5 pups when we first got her. Every single one looked like it didn't come from her. They all looked like black labs so it was easy to figure out who dad was.

That's my son in law. He was about to scold her for sitting on the picnic table. She got away with it.
