what kind of ducks?

Good Afternoon, Kim!!!
Glad you liked the pics. I love these little Anconas......so friendly...and too darn cute!! I'll definitely be keeping my fingers crossed for a very successful hatch on the 28th!!!! Sending all my positive hatching vibes your way!!!! Just keep a sharp eye on the humidity....and be sure the air cells enlarge at the proper rate. I have a strong feeling you'll do great!!! And your babies will be just as adorable!!! Keep in touch!!!!
Ancona Mama,
Kathy

Oh, yes, I vote Cayuga! I have a pair of them. I love them, they are gorgeous, and Louie is devoted to Thelma. (I bought 2 straight run ducklings, hoping for two girls, Thelma and Louise. But one turned out to be Louie instead of Louise.)

They are really quiet ducks. Well, the girls do quack, but unfrequently. The males, like most males of mallard-derivative ducks, only have a softer, huskier sounding .. ummm..... not even a quack. And they do not fly.

Hello Linda!!!!
I love Cayugas also!!! They were actually amongst the first ducks I ever raised way back in 2002. I have 4 Black Cayugas who are now getting older.....it's funny how only the females turn whiter with age, while the drakes maintain that beautiful beetle green sheen on their black plumage. At the moment I have Blue /Black?Splash Cayugas in the incubator.....always wanted some!!! Cayugas are awesome ducks, no matter what color they are!!!
