We've gotten two Polish roos as extras, a splash Andalusian hen, and a Black Giant roo.

Probability is really high that it will be a roo. They don't get the requests for roos like they do for hens.

Mine was a white Cochin roo who is my husbands bud but I'd like to drop him in the stew pot!

My neighbor got a Barred rock roo last year and an EE roo the year before.

From someone at work I got their free roo who ended up being ajersey giant. He lives on a farm down the road from me now.

My poor neighbor got his at some local place. The owner assured him that the chicks were all girls. Turns out half were boys. Isn't that the same ratio if you had bought straight run? I hope he hadn't spent extra money for the guy sexing the chicks!

Last year McMurray sent a free White Cochin rooster along with our order.

Not to sound stupid, but what breed is an EE? I'm getting chicks in early april, i ordered them from Welp Hatchery, they're supposed to have good meat birds.
