What Kind Of Free Rare Chick Do I Get From McMurray?

We think we got an EE as our rare. It looks like a "chipmunk" like the other 10 we ordered but it is more chocolate than the rest. In fact we got 14 EEs. We ordered 10 Buffs (only got 9) and 5 Red Leghorns (only got 4). Maybe they were making up? They pushed back our order a week because they lacked availability. We've lost 4 since Monday ;(

We have gotten cochins, polish, ameuracanas, and buttercups in our past orders.

So far from four orders from Mc Murray I got three EE roosters and one barred rock roo. I was kind of surprised with the barred because they are far from rare but it looks like I wasn't the only one to end up with one from them I guess.

Last year my free rare breed chick from Mc Murray was a buttercup hen. Also a extra Barred Rock roo penut.

I guess what happened to me was just bad luck. But my surpirise chick was retarded. It didn't grow much like the other chicks.

He's just starting to think he's mighty manly and charge visitors and my husband. I set my young thug dog on him and have her chase him around until he's exhausted, then I pick him up and carry him around where his ladies can see. This keeps his nose clean for a couple weeks. Hope he gets his act together, because I like him and I want to keep him. And he's starting to take a genuinely protective role with the hens, too.
