I use murphy's oil soap, a rag, and my hand.

I am really weird about my floors and I love my Hoover FloorMate! I am kind of old school when it comes to cleaning so I really didn't think it was going to work but it is nothing short of amazing And when you're done it's dry because it vacuums up the water. I got a great deal on CraigsList too. I ran out of the cleaner they recommend, which is great too, but have been using a drop of Murphys Oil Soap and my wood floors and tile look and feel so clean.
