What kind of rooster do I have????

I have a whole flock of hens, but only one roo. I don't hatch my laying chicken's eggs, so I just got a roo to kinda stand gaurd. I have no idea what he is, but he is huge!!! I'm short (5ft1in) but he comes up to about mid thigh on me!! He is very friendly to people, but will attack anything else (including my 50lb springer spaniel) that he thinks is too close to his girls. I have had him for a long time.. he is probably a year or two old. But I would really like to know what he is.... probably a mix, but I really don't have a clue. When he starts getting a little older I guess I will have to hatch some eggs to try to get another roo like him.

Thanks! I looked at the new hampshire pics on mcmurray hatchery. He does look like them! Does anyone have a pic of theirs that they can post? I guess I will try to find a couple of new hampshire hens so when I get ready to hatch out another "willie" I can make a pretty good copy!
