What Kind of Rooster is this?

I thought he was RIR, but he doesn't look like the picture.

He is very pretty and a possible father to my 8 chicks. Just want to call them what they are. Thank you.

not RIR, but he sure is pretty! He looks a lot like my Jimmy, who is (I think) an OEGB. I'm assuming yours is big though?

He may be a leghorn cross because of the white lobes on the sides of his head. Maybe a Brown Leghorn.

I think you are right! A Brown Leghorn, he looks like the picture. I am glad I now know. I had gotten him with last years 2 day olds in a bargin combo pack. lol.

Ok Thanks. He has been good, never showed any anger twards me. Sometimes I fine him sitting in a nesting box with no eggs. Funny guy always comes running with the girls for treats. lol.
