    Yeah - I agree on the cochin. I wasn't sure about the oegb - guess it's dubbed???

    well the lady that gave him to me said that he was used for fighting so they cut his waddles and comb off and she said that they were gonna kill him if no on e took him so she took him. Btw what is dubbed?

    Agreed on the breeds -- Bantam Cochin and Old English Game bantam.

    Dubbing is when the comb and wattles get cut off, usually done on game breeds.

    Dubbed is when the comb and wattles are removed. I also believe he is an Old English Game Bantam (OEGB), but they aren;t fighters, they're show bred. They look a lot like OEG full sized fowl, which have a combat history, thus they are dubbed like the big gamefowl, but it's just a cosmetic thing. They are plrnty scrappy, just like most bantams, but they are far removed from the term "game". Nice looking boys, though........Pop
