What kind of sweet treats do YOU make for Christmas?

I MAKE a conscious effort to go around eating everyone else's sweet treats.

CrazyChickieMama... I would gladly come help you if we were closer! Peanut butter balls is one of my all time favs but I have never made them! Do you use parafin wax in yours?

so far i've made 6 types of cookies for little cookie boxes for the neighbors, mailman etc. and i actually made a FRUITCAKE!!! i'm trinidadian so my grandmother makes something called "black cake"; it's a dark, dense fruitcake that i usually don't enjoy

(it's intense!). i decided maybe i'd like american fruitcake better (can you imagine lol) so i have it soaking in brandy with my fingers crossed.

i have yet to make my fave pound cake and fresh rolls to eat with our christmas ham

i'll get to those tomorrow!

OK, I started this morning and now I'm finished except for rolling out, cutting out and baking the gingerbread men. This is what is finished and, yes, I'm bragging.

I've made peanut butter fudge.

I wish I felt up to cooking more. I bought the oil to make rock candy. And Church window cookies sound good.

Maybe after Rhiannon is born and my mom comes down I can convince her to cook some. 5 days till her due date.
