What kind of winter do you think we'll have, and the signs of it?

here in MI, the geese have been 'practicing' way earlier than normal. trees already turning. i think we're in for a DOOZIE!

better go freshen my carhart bibs...should be cold enough to wear them by next week:lol:
 
We are getting wooly caterpillers - we see them only when the winter is cold and wet. Our nights are in the low 40's and in some places in our state the nights are below freezing.
