What Kind of Worm?

A hen jumped up on a swing in our yard this afternoon and pooped on it. I noticed small worm-like things swimming around in it. They are tiny, but were moving it. You had to look closely to see. Ideas?

Sounds like cecal worms. I recommend you dose them with valbazen. Dosage is 1/2cc for standard size chickens, 1/4cc for smaller chickens. Administer orally. Repeat dosing in 10 days. There's a 24 day grand total withdrawal. If it's not at your feed store, you can order it from Jefferslivestock.com or you can call them. It's a liquid cattle/sheep wormer. I recommend you treat all your chickens with valbazen.
