Hello friends! So I got this chicken as a chick at tractor supply store and as it's grown up I've been curious as to what kinda pattern/chicken this is. They were in a bin of mixed breeds and I thought it would be fun to just see what I got. Fairly sure it's a Cochin, the rest is unknown. What really throws me off on if it is a Cochin is the beak. But I really have no clue what pattern this is. Btw she is a pullet right now, I understand the pattern will become clearer after her first molt.

It is a Cochin mix not a pure Cochin.

It has a Columbian type pattern, but I'm not sure what the back patterning would be called....I think it is a type of barring.

Not barring. Incorrect penciling. Barring produces uniform white 'bars.' This bird is exhibiting splotchy black patterning on a silver background.
The vulture hocks and white skin are more indicative of Booted Bantam.

I guess I'm most curious about what pattern it is. I've been calling it an arrow pattern. Because they look like little < arrows to me. Booted Batam could be right. Are they bigger or smaller than Cochin's so I can tell as she grows.

I also own Millie Flure Old English Batams and she is already bigger than both of them and they are full grown.
