I listen to Alternative rock and Classic rock, some punk rock, but I really don't see the difference btw punk and alterative... can't stand anything too harsh, though. I do like some rock-country and really like Carrie Underwood, Shania (sp) Dixie Chicks and Kelly Clarkson.

I'm old school alternative though... no booing!!!

My age is about to show-NONE of the ABOVE! I don't even know who the heck they are. Hate country. Hate alternative, whatever the heck it is-couldnt' figure it out-alternative to what??

It's easier for me to say what I won't or don't listen too......

I won't listen to the screeming yelling style of alternative/new music

I won't listen to rap that has vulgar, fowl language, unclear words or violence overtones, drug promotion, etc.

I won't listen to strictly evelvator style, restaurant stlye boring music
