NO BARBEQUE! DW will not twist herself trying to get everything ready. Now I just have to tell her NO for Labor Day. Some of her Tater Salad, Bread & Butter Corn on the cob, Garden Salad, BB Chicken for us. High 70s today will drop later for a nice Al Fresco of DW, Pup and myself. ENJOY THE 4TH

Happy Independence Day.

I walked all the way around the house again today on two canes and I cleaned my hen house. It's a painful struggle, but my life is beginning to look more like normal. Now I'm treating myself to a Hershey's Special Dark Mini.

That the assembly for my new grill wasn't as bad as some of the reviews would have led me to believe. Granted the instructions were just pictures and screw names but it was clear enough for me and the end result looks great

Now that the 2am diy session is over, time for some tea

Went to our granddaughter's baby shower. Yep, we are going to be great grandparents. While looking at the group of people I had the thought that none of these people would have had reason to come together if the Princess and I had not met, married, and procreated. It was a truly 'fun' day.

I got to watch (on YouTube) my GS's sermon from last week in Ks City at a Seventh-day Adventist church. He's 19 and just graduated from Sunnydale Adventist Academy in Centralia, MO. Am I proud of him? I reckon! If anyone would like to see how he did, here it is, it's about 15 minutes long.
