Got the boards painted for my next project. All of the wood was free. Some cast off pieces and a pallet from where DH works. I had the paint left over too.

Had a wonderful long weekend with my family, camping and hiking at my favorite area, Hocking Hills, Ohio. So beautiful out there

I got a very scary fake hawk for my chicken and quail area and it scared my dog and I giggled

I made a big pot of chicken stock yesterday; today I pressure canned it. It made 4 quarts. I'm supposed to fill the canner so I also canned three quart jars of water. So now I also have three quarts of sterile water, which is handy to have if I ever need to make sterile saline quickly to treat a wound, chicken, human, dog or cat. I felt ... competent. Accomplished. Prepared. Pleased. And yes, happy.
