Got the last 7 quarts of tomatoes in the canner! After they're done, I can put the canner away until applesauce time.

Turkey cleaned up under bird feeders where I spilled sunflower seeds .

I mowed the back lawn and the 'way back', and I am not exhausted. The last week or so I have been feeling my age. That has been unacceptable to me.

We saw a most awesome rainbow on our walk! The entire arch, all the colors.

My formerly feral kitty we rescued earlier this year actually climbed up onto my chest and curled up on me for a nap. She didn't willingly visit our laps until August, after being rescued around April. But this was the first time she really climbed up and wanted a napping place, purring and enjoying herself. It was an amazing feeling to know she was a wild kitty only earlier this year.

I got to see my oldest friend of 51 years . Fun to catch up. Kind of a funny story death in her fam.her s.i.l.. So here we are 2 generations searching for hotels for family brother going through yellow pages, yougster telling us we have to have an app on phone. I say let's just drive over in person!. Told the owner it was a funeral and he got us 4 adjoining rooms reserved. Thought the youngster's head was going to explode I love it when plans come together. Especially when it's OLD SCHOOL! Yay baby boomers.
