What made you happy today?

I won an official BYC cookbook and just got it in the mail today! Lots of good recipes it seems. Does anyone have any suggestions on ones to try?

I cant be happy when my shed is flooded and rusted to peices my geese and duck are stuck in a 2x4 coop because its to cold to build right now and dont have money because of feed prices going up and nothing even laying. So when something actually makes me happy that will be the first because NY sucks

Got 2.5 yrs of change sorted (copper and silver, terms used loosely). Another day I'll roll the silver. Going forward I will separate the copper as I empty my pocket.

DH used to save pennies. I rolled them and took them to the bank. They remembered me for a LONG time... it was $60 worth of pennies!

The family that I used to babysit for many moons ago, the dad saved pennies in his basement. He had jars and jars of them. When he cashed them in, he had almost $10,000!! No lie. I think he went to one of those coin machines to cash them in, I know he didn't go to the local bank

When there's enough pennies, I go to a coin machine. Yeah, it's 10% or so, but in this economy it's not worth me rolling them.
