What made you happy today?

What will make me happy today:
Getting downtown and parked safely.
Sitting on the mezzanine at DeVos hall, hearing the Grand Rapids Symphony tune up, and watching my friend Judy (piccoloist) through my binoculars.
**Listening to Beethoven's 9th Symphony.**
Being the crazy lady who leaps to her feet afterward and yells, Bravo, Beethoven!
Getting home safely will round it out and make for a great day.

You went to hear it again? How many times have you heard it in person? I want to hear that one in person.

my chickens are spoiled let’s start with that. but their coops automatically open. And this time of year their side yard also automatically open. So this is my view when I go out in the morning to change their water. Makes me smile EVERY morning.

Clover cuddled in my lap today. Willingly! I didn't cheat and pick her up. This is my last remaining skittish bird, so huge progress. She also bit my hand several times, but you know... if that's the price, I'll pay it.

Also got two new phone cases with my leftover birthday money (yes, my dad still sends me birthday money ). Ducks and pumpkins for fall! Lots to be happy about today.
