Oyster sauce (like "duck sauce," named for what it's served with, not what it's made of)

I would never have guessed that. I had something with Fish Sauce, and thought it was horrible, as I don't care for the taste of fish.

What does oyster sauce taste like?

It's very salty and adds a really nice flavor to my steaks. It definitely improves dishes that get Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce. It is really good in egg fried rice.
