We have a lot of woods around so they can hide fairly easily lol

In town is probably the safest place for them here. I had a doe give birth to her fawn in my yard the first year I was here.

Dear friends of mine & the hubby gave us the most precious, wonderful gift this year! They made a donation in our honor, via Samaritan's Purse, for the purchase of baby chicks (to go to families needing that resource)!! It makes me happy that someone else, somewhere else will be happy!!!

Today I saw the largest/longest lasting/most complete sundog that I have ever seen. The total spectrum of the rainbow was visible.

I went to the store by myself. Yes, that made me happy. Hubby drives when the roads are bad. I haven't driven anywhere since before Thanksgiving. We're getting a big thaw, the roads are clear, and I drove into town.
