What made you happy today?

Better late than never.
Why does ICE lock such people up to start with?. Listen to the popes Christmas message and know this is a very wrong thing to do.

“ Love your friendly neighbours no matter where they came from. Please remember you are all immigrants in the US, except for the native Americans of course. ”

Happy I checked on the chickens early. its was cold Christmas night and the water warmer failed to melt the water.
Happy Hollidays to you all!
Keep in mind, ICE does not lock people up who are in the country legally. And the pope is just a human who speaks on political matters when he shouldn't. We haven't had a good pope since John Paul II

Opinions are just that, and Karim's only offense was that his skin is brown.

ICE does lock up people who are here legally ... quite frequently, as a matter of fact.

I don't want to let this get too political but I felt I should clarify that Catholicism does not condone illegal immigration. Catholic teaching is very clear on this: immigrants must obey the laws of the country they migrate to (which necessarily includes respecting borders and entering legally). This is from the Catholic Catechism 2241:

"Immigrants are obliged to respect with gratitude the material and spiritual heritage of the country that receives them, to obey its laws and to assist in carrying civic burdens."

I went for a bike ride. Found a super old LG phone. It's probably at least 10 years old, pretty smashed, but still phone shaped. No battery. I took it home to give it what is probably its first Christmas in years.

It had to have been there for a long while. No way was it lost recently.
