Going to Costco made me happy. For one reason or another, I haven't been able to get there for about 2-3 months. So I stocked up. I have to find some inventive places to stash some of the stuff.

Yes, we (me) relinquished our Costco membership about 15 years ago after my husband bought a 20 jar pack of almond butter.

I’m sick today so there’s been lots of little triumphs to make me happy(er).

1. Finished my last minute Christmas shopping yesterday (we are celebrating tomorrow).
2. Got all the wrapping done! (And I’m confident that wearing a mask and washing my hands a lot prevented me from contaminating it all.)
3. Managed to get out in the cold to give thawed water to all my chickens.
4. DH brought me dinner (frozen pizza) in bed, and he also made my lunch too! (So I can avoid contaminating the kitchen- we have house guests and more coming tomorrow.)

And best of all-
5. The Detroit Red Wings just scored two goals against the Winnipeg Jets!
