Saw a black squirrel today - first I have seen in quite a while.

How cool!

I thought we were down to just Pepsi Zero's, but I found a singular Diet Coke buried in the pile.

That's right up there with putting on the jacket you haven't worn since last winter and finding a stray dollar bill in the pocket

I've got a nasty head cold coming on and absolutely dreaded going out for cold meds in the muddle of the milk-bred-toilet paper panic. Then DS came downstairs with his stash. THAT made me as happy as I can be with a cold. I don't have to leave the house until the storm is over!

Watching crows from 'my murder' swooping across the neighborhood from blocks away in response to me ringing their dinner bell this morning...

How do you start feeding crows? I'd love to lure some of the locals into our woods. They're so much fun to watch and they'd keep the red-tails at bay!
